Glossary

What is a URL Slug?

The slug is the final, descriptive part of a URL – e.g. /glossary/geo.

Good slugs are short, readable, and stable over time. Keyword spam and constant renames hurt more than they help. After publishing, avoid changes; otherwise set a redirect.
