What is a Google Core Update?

A core update is a broad change to Google’s ranking systems that can affect many pages at once.

Visibility swings across topics and quality levels are typical. Fixes are rarely “tricks” – they are better substance, E-E-A-T, and intent fit. After updates, measure first, then refresh deliberately – do not rewrite everything in panic.
