What are Semantic Duplicates?
Semantic duplicates are pages that are very similar in meaning, even if titles and wording differ.
They compete internally for the same search intents and weaken rankings – related to cannibalization. Detection often uses embeddings and SERP overlap. Fixes: merge, separate intents, or clearly prioritize.
